Excentrique Review: Wallpaper Patterned Dress Coat and Queen of Spades Dress

I bought the Wallpaper Patterned Dress Coat from Excentrique at their store at MaruiOne this summer. The lone saleswoman was really helpful and nice. She even helped me decide what color I'd like better, the pink or the blue coat. We finally both agreed on blue.

The dress coat is well-made and beautiful, but not very warm or too practical. The material is thick and smooth. The color is a bit dark in my photographs. The color is closer to the first picture in the first image above.

The only problem I had with this was that the polyester lining is a bit loosely attached to the coat. The lining is firmly attached at the waist. But only a few thin strings attach the lining to the base of the coat. I'm sorry I forgot to take pictures of it >__<

edit: Apparently this is normal for coats. >__< Sorry about any misunderstandings

All in all this is a beautiful coat, but I'd be hesitant to buy another Excentrique coat at full price.




The next item is the Queen of Spades Dress. I recently bought it through a shopping service. I prefer J-goods to any other service. They are extremely fast, reliable and really easy to use. You fill out an order form and they invoice you a written estimate. J-goods says that their commission depends on the cost of the item. But from my experience, they take a 10% commission. They usually get invoice you their estimation form within the day. After the item arrives at their company, they bill you another estimate for the shipping costs. After paying it, they ship within the next business day or so through EMS.

The dress is extremely well made and beautiful. The material is thick and high quality. And the pattern is so beautiful. I would not hesitate to buy another dress from Excentrique again. :3

Both the dress and the coat are so gorgeous!
I'm not sure what you mean about the lining on the coat. Do you mean it is only attached by a few strings at the hem? In that case, that is how the lining is usually fastened on coats.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear, but both items are from Excentrique ( http://excentrique.shop7.makeshop.jp/ ). The dress appears to be called the Queen of Spades dress.

Thank you so much for writing this. I really love the previews for the Winter Collection from Excentrique and have never ordered from them or owned anything of theirs before, so it's really helpful to hear from someone who has as well as to see your photos of the stuff.

I especially adore your coat - it's really gorgeous! I love the cut of it - beautiful :).

Both of those are absolutely GORGEOUS.

Not be intrusive (and if I am, feel free not to answer XD), but what's your bust size? I love Excentrique's dresses but I think my measurements might be slightly too large.
